Thursday Evening Critique Group Photos

Pastel by Mario Ortez

We had our Thursday Evening Critique at Kelly's Cafe again and they are so nice. They make room for us at three beautiful and comfortable couches and then chairs for the paintings to be viewed from. We thank them very much for all they do. If you don't come for the critique you should check them out some time for the food. They serve crepes that are really good and you just don't find them often around town.

Thursday Night Critique Group

Photograph printed on metal by Bill Beuther

We had a lovely evening on a cold and rainy night. Our meeting was after our horrible historical storm Sandy and it was a nice reprieve. Some people were not there and we hope that everything is fine with them and family. We hope that all is fine with all our readers and their families.

Critique Group Thurs Night

Wonderful critique group meeting at our regular meeting place. Kelly's Cafe is a nice comfortable and warm feeling for talking about our art. We can have a little something to eat or drink too if we like.

Viewing the art first before contributing comments helps to organize our thoughts.

Matting helps a lot to view a painting to talk about it even though it may or may not be finished yet.

Thanks to J.E. Stanley for helping us fly...

Somewhat unorthodox, always thought provoking, J.E. Stanley returned to Brunswick this past Thursday evening at Kelly's Cafe to again share his view of the world with us through his poetry .  We hope that J.E. will return in the future to help us explore the world through his eyes.
