First Merit Exhibit - David R. Fawcett

The next time you stop by First Merit Bank, right here in Brunswick, be sure to notice the artwork of Dave Fawcett that is on display throughout the bank.  A highly intuitive artist, Dave endeavors to master the use and application of various media.  Dave has received many awards for his artwork, including several "Best of Show."  We hope you enjoy viewing the paintings of this talented artist.

May 1st Meet the Artist: Jesse Bauer

Lifetime Brunswick resident, Jesse Bauer, began his photographic career about seven years ago when he purchased his first camera, a Nikon DSLR.  He originally did casual photography until he was encouraged by a co-worker who said he had a "good eye" and suggested he pursue his craft more seriously.  A self-taught photographer, Jesse now has his own photography business with a "portable" studio.  He specializes in POV (point of view) photography - shooting everyday objects, and people, in unique angles, compositions, poses, and lighting to make amazing and striking artistic photographs.

Come and view some of Jesse's photos as he talks about his photographic journey at our next Meet the Artist on May 1.  As usual, we will meet in the council chamber of Brunswick City Hall at 7:30 PM.  Our meetings are always open to the public and free.  Hope to see you there!
