CONGRATULATIONS BRUNSWICK ART WORKS!

Excitement was high as Brunswick Art Works received the 2012 Service to the Arts Award from The Medina County Arts Council and presented by Medina County Commissioner, Steve Hambley.  Additionally, Rosemary Mihacevich received a proclamation from Brunswick Mayor, Gary Werner, for her contributions to furthering the arts in the City of Brunswick as Founder and Executive Director of Brunswick Art Works. 

A social hour opened the event at the Coppertop Restaurant in Valley City, which was attended by approximately 50 guests.  After dinner we were treated to an upbeat performance by the Brunswick High School Jazz Combo. For additional photos, click on AWARD, under Pages in the right-hand column of this blog.  For more on this story, click here.

Takin' Care of Business

With the new year, Brunswick Art Works bids farewell to President Julie Zabkar and welcomes a new slate of officers  We thank Julie for the dedication, optimism, and energy she displayed throughout her tenure.  We welcome our new officers:  Barbara Ortiz, President; Michele Cotner, Vice President; Barbara McGreer, Secretary; and Regina Ebert, Treasurer.  Continuing board members are Vince Carl and Misty Ricco.  Thanks to each of you for all that you do for Brunswick Art Works on a daily basis.
