Brunswick Song
By Dana Langshaw
April, 2011

Anywhere I've gone
Anything I've seen
Nothing beats this city
Where the grass always grows green.

Filled with many people
With hopes and big dreams
Will always come back home
to the place that holds they key

Yeah, Brunswick's here for me
It gives me everything
To cherish and to hold
Brunswick is my home.

Since 1815
When the founders came to be
And built the land we see
They love it just like me

Anywhere I've gone
Anything I've seen
Nothing beats this city
Where the grass always grows green.

Filled with many people
With hopes and big dreams
Will always come back home
to the place that holds they key

Yeah, Brunswick's here for me
It gives me everything
To cherish and to hold
Brunswick is my home.

Look into the sky
We shine off blue and white
Our city makes us proud
From three oh three to town.

It gives us all we need
With friends and family
Nothing can replace
The hills, the land, the space.

Anywhere I've gone
Anything I've seen
Nothing beats this city
Where the grass always grows green.

City Council concurred with the recommendation of the Lyrics Review Committee at the Committee-of-the-Whole meeting and Legislation is being drafted to adopt Dana's lyrics as the official lyrics for the Brunswick Song..
