Don grew up
in Akron and was torn between his love of playing the violin and
painting. He received many art awards while in H.S. and studied art at
Akron Univ. After graduating, he worked in sales and management for over
20 years before returning to college to obtain his license in teaching
art. He was hired by Lorain schools and began playing violin and
painting again.
He now concentrates on painting birds and "showing
the beauty and wonder of God's creations." His dream is to become a
professional artist.
