We had a wide variety of styles and media at this morning's critique group. Above are the paintings, in various stages of completion, that we critiqued. Thanks to everyone for being willing to risk, by sharing work and allowing everyone to share their opinions. Critiques are scary business. The artist being critiqued is risking, but so it the person doing the critique. The payoff is that we all learn through the process. And, although you don't see them, we did have real, live artists there! Bill wasn't able to be there and the person filling in (me) simply forgot to photograph the artists! I figure everyone would rather see the artwork anyway.
