Everything you ever wanted to know about COLOR, but were afraid to ask!

This past Wednesday evening, Sharon Borror presented an informative slide show on various aspects of color.  The psychology of color, including the emotional reactions that might be expressed and/or induced by certain colors was discussed, followed by an explanation of the color wheel and its use in deciding a color scheme for a painting.  Because Sharon prefers using a very limited palette in her own paintings, she frequently chooses to incorporate a triadic, or three-color, scheme.  Sharon visually demonstrated the creative use of color through a series of images from some of the old masters interspersed with many of her own paintings.
