- Brushes (must be OIL bristle if using oil paint): three flats or filberts, 1/2 in.-1 in., three rounds, 1/4- 1/2"
- Two Masonite or 3-ply chipboard or canvas(board) panels of your choice
- Solvent (water for Acrylic/Turpenoid or Gamsol for Oils)

- A French easel is an unspoken necessity to landscape painters; but if you are unequipped to make the investment, here are some suggestions: You may want bring a stool or a folding chair of some sort, whether or not you have an easel. Lawn chairs work best, since the legs of regular chairs will sink into the ground. Have a small drawing board to clip or to tack the canvas or painting board.
- Sun umbrella (not to mention a hat) would be a wise to bring along.
- Sun block, bug repellant, a water bottle, handi-wipes and other sundry item.
- Bring your LUNCH...remember, we'll be in a park all day!
